The Introverted House – Mahis

The design is based on introverted architecture, aiming to achieve full privacy and isolation from outside noisiness.

Insisting on privacy, did not hold the design from being unconventional. Where fully exposed facades were used to connect the inner spaces to outdoor courtyard and garden.
The courtyard acts as the heart of the house that connects the inner spaces with each other through a strong visual contact. In addition, it is a mimicking of the traditional Damascus courtyards, yet in a modern way.
The design also tends to mimic our client spirit who is young, ambitious and vital. Therefore, a dynamic circulation was created by using different levels, exposed corridors and floating masses which will add excitement to the user experience.
